How We Help You

We help companies and government organization build better software. We do a lot of training in software testing, software engineering and business analysis. We also consult with organizations to help them transform their teams and processes to build better software.

Randy Rice's extensive management consulting background in a Big 6 consulting firm, his 13 years in software development, as well as over 30 years in software testing and QA, gives him a unique ability to effectively work with people at all levels to affect positive change.

Randy doesn't come into your company with pre-conceived solutions. While he has processes for software testing and software requirements, Randy understands that your business has unique needs and will base his recommendations on what will give you the best results.

The Rice Consulting management team consists of:

Janet Rice, Owner and President
Randall W. Rice, Vice-president, Principal Trainer and Consultant

In the 29 years we have been in business, Randy has written and presented over 70 courses on software testing and related topics. In 2001, after the attacks of September 11, the entire conference and training business ceased for several months due to travel restrictions. At that time, Randy realized there needed to be a way to reach people virtually. In addition, he realized that some people are simply not able to attend a live classroom session due to geography, time and/or cost constraints. So, in 2001, Randy developed his first e-Learning course and since then has continued to create more and more e-Learning courses. Our attendees like Randy's conversation style of presentation and have found great value in getting the training they need on their own schedule.

Any of the courses here can be presented at your site with Randy as the instructor. For more information, just contact us at the link above.
